SAIHP Experts Represent India at IUHPE World Conference 2025, Abu Dhabi
The South Asian Institute for Health Promotion (SAIHP) marked a significant global presence at the 25th IUHPE World Conference on Health Promotion held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with its experts contributing to key discussions on multimorbidity, health promotion, and equity.
Dr. Abhinav Sinha (Assistant Director) represented SAIHP in the symposium on “Catalysing Health Promotion in Multimorbidity”, where he highlighted the importance of community-driven strategies in advancing healthy longevity. The session was chaired by Dr. Sanghamitra Pati, Additional Director General at ICMR.
Dr. Arohi Sandeep Chauhan also showcased her impactful participation at the global platform, contributing to ongoing dialogues on public health and health promotion.
Dr. Pranab Mohapatra (Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry) presented insights on behavioral health and equity in multimorbidity, emphasizing the integration of mental health within public health frameworks.
This global engagement reflects SAIHP’s growing leadership in public health promotion and its commitment to advancing evidence-based, community-centered approaches on an international stage.
